Drive through tents are being deployed right around the globe. Why?

A key reason is that individuals will not need to leave their vehicle, which means minimal contact with others therefore lowering the risk of passing on the coronavirus, or catching the virus themselves. After use, these drive thru tent can be cleaned down very easily. This will save the NHS millions of pounds as the cost to de-contained hospital wards could be very high.

Testing tents can be deployed to any location around the globe, to meet demand. Should the virus continue to spread, shelters can be deployed to the areas in most need.

Cost Effective

These temporary buildings are a very cost effective way of dealing with the need to create space, saving our NHS budget. Drive thru tents can be set up as individual testing stations, or linked together to create many testing stations, similar to how a multi car toll booth might appear. As the need for testing decreases, these structures can be taken down quickly and easily turning over the space again for its original use.

Flexibility

These emergency drive through shelters are extremely flexible as they can be both small and large. They can accommodate anything from a small hatchback to a fleet of vehicles. The marquee structures could be used for a whole multitude of uses, not just testing stations, or storage, personal areas or information points.

Proven Quality

Drive through buildings are also strong and durable. Made from an aluminium and steel frame covered with a quality PVC. The design has been fully wind tested and can stand up to the rigours of the British Isles. The design has stood the test of time and is a work horse of the marquee hire trade. The structures are, through years and years of evolution has finally become the industry standard. Thousands of marquee hirers up and down the country cannot be wrong. This design is the most advanced of it’s type in the UK. Quick and easy to erect and simply to de-install. The PVC is made from a quality 650 gsm, backed up with a fire retardant certification. The structures can be weighted down and thus avoiding ground penetration, or bolted to a concrete or tarmac surface. They can also be staked into gravel, earth or sand.

The structures do not have any internal poles, or guide ropes that can be associated with more of the traditional structures, therefore maximising internal, as well as external space. Once a structure has been erected, internal sections can be partitioned off to create separate areas within the tent. Temporary emergency buildings, which are effectively marquee structures can easily be fitted with lighting for around the clock use. The structures can be fitted with doors, solid sides and/or windows. Many different options are available, which we’d be happy to discuss with you over the telephone, or during a site visit.

We Can Help You

These rapidly deployable structures can be as small as 3 m x 3 m and can easily and efficiently be increased in size. Whether that’s at the point of install, or should the need to increase the size later on, they can be added to. Typically a drive through testing tent will be 9m x 6m, but can be added to creating a multi-testing stations. See the drive Drive Through Testing Station Specification here.

This is a simple process and something we would be happy to discuss with you.
